Been experimenting with Tensorflow.js recently, and wanted to take it up a notch. Released use-tensorflow last week and set some time aside to combine it with visualization libraries.
[Firefox] See yourself converted in a cartoon with Tensorflow. Scream for added drama.
It's a video and audio feed that will display cartoon-ish people in a realtime feed. The roughness of the people displayed depends on the microphone registered volume. See it in action:
Open the url and let it load for a bit (it's 12+MB including the tensorflow models). If it hasn't load after 20-30 seconds refresh the page. Only works on a laptop/desktop with a camera and a good internet connection.
Make sure to accept the camera+audio. No data is sent to any server.
Only works on Firefox.
I tried running this in Firefox on my Macbook Pro 2018 and it wouldn't load. I gave it plenty of time and refreshed multiple times. It's hard to judge if no one can use it. Also a loading progress indicator of some sort would have been helpful to give the user some sense of how much longer they have to wait or if it's been long enough that they need to refresh.
Looks awesome but I can't seem to get it working in Chrome or Firefox. The TensorFlow download notification never goes away, even though the group1 files all seem to download.
Nice work with the use of microphone.. hope you will check our one also
